My name is Mary Smith, and I am proud to be a Breitling Elementary Bear!! I am from Mobile, AL and I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. This will be my tenth year at Breitling Elementary School where I spent the first 8 teaching 4th grade ELA/AL History and in August I began my second year teaching 3rd grade.
I have a true passion for working with our young learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academically and socially- is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. You will often hear me refer to them as my "besties"!
I have a husband and 2 beautiful children who are the loves of my life. We have 2 crazy dogs and a very active life together.
